At Sober Eats our intention is to bring awareness to the possibilities of Recovery and the realities of addiction. We do this through community connections, providing entrepreneurial enterprises, advocating for better addiction treatment and by serving good food!

Sober Eats is a family owned business...
Kevin and Joyce have been in the mental health and addictions field for over 20 years.
They have been involved in Recovery Advocacy within the West Michigan community throughout that time. Part of that advocacy involved serving food with many volunteers for up to 2000 people!
Kevin has an associate’s degree in the Culinary Arts program at Grand Rapids Community College.

They have catered for many parties and events. The idea to do a “walk up and pay here” type of business was swirling around for a few years. What you see here is the result of years of equipment gathering, experience gathering, and planning.
The hope is to help others join the food truck brigade and create a presence in the community so obvious, that people can’t help but gain a better understanding of addiction and addiction Recovery!
